According to the United States Sailing Association (USSA) regulations, all children under the age of 12 are required to wear a properly fitting and secured life jacket at all times while on board a vessel, except when the child is accompanied by their parent, legal guardian, or a person designated by the parent or legal guardian who is over the age of 18.
We recommend that you bring:
- Hat
- Sunscreen
- Jacket or Sweater
- Camera
- Food and beverages of your choice
Carolina Runner cruises are available to all. However, if you plan to consume or purchase alcohol while on board, we ask that you bring a valid ID. Cocktail Cruises are reserved for 21+.
Street parking along Waynick Blvd. is available and uses the pay by phone app. Based upon availability, there is a $15 resort valet parking option for the duration of your activity.
Yes, there is a “head” complete with a soap, a sink, and paper towels.
In the event of high winds and or lightning, the captain will monitor conditions and decide the day of departure. The captain may choose to postpone the departure up to 30 minutes. If the activity is cancelled due to weather conditions a refund will be issued.
Unfortunately no Alcohol can be brought on board but feel to bring your fav non alcoholic beverages (don’t forget the kids). However, a selection of beer and wine are available for purchase. (Excluding Brew Cruise and Cocktail Cruise in which drinks are built into price)
Alcoholic beverages vary depending on the cruise, but guests can count on water and soft drinks to be available for purchase. We are also stocked with sanitized blankets in case of a chilly night. If you are headed to Masonboro Island, we can provide SUP’s and kayaks.
The Carolina Runner is equipped with even more PFDs than guests are allowed on the boat. If you are worried about small children, we have a variety of sizes of PFDs so that they fit securely. Additionally, there are 3 fire extinguishers and a throw ring.
The route of our cruises allow us to stay in relatively calm water and low speeds. Nearing Mason’s inlet may have rougher water, that we would only stay in for a short period of time. At any time, feel free to share with our Captain if you are uncomfortable. If you know that you are prone to seasickness, it is recommened to take motion sickness medication prior to departure.
All bookings shall be considered confirmed. Special Events, Group Bookings and Private Charters are held to a 48-hour cancellation policy. All other bookings are held to a 24-hour cancellation policy.
Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. Failure to attend without notification of cancellation will result in full payment. A refund is only available if a resort representative is contacted prior to the cancellation window.
