In the event of high winds and or lightning, the captain will monitor conditions and decide the day of departure. The captain may choose to postpone the departure up to 30 minutes. If the activity is cancelled due to weather conditions a refund will be issued.

Unfortunately no Alcohol can be brought on board but feel to bring your fav non alcoholic beverages (don’t forget the kids). However, a selection of beer and wine are available for purchase. (Excluding Brew Cruise and Cocktail Cruise in which drinks are built into price)

Alcoholic beverages vary depending on the cruise, but guests can count on water and soft drinks to be available for purchase. We are also stocked with sanitized blankets in case of a chilly night. If you are headed to Masonboro Island, we can provide SUP’s and kayaks.

The Carolina Runner is equipped with even more PFDs than guests are allowed on the boat. If you are worried about small children, we have a variety of sizes of PFDs so that they fit securely. Additionally, there are 3 fire extinguishers and a throw ring.

The route of our cruises allow us to stay in relatively calm water and low speeds. Nearing Mason’s inlet may have rougher water, that we would only stay in for a short period of time. At any time, feel free to share with our Captain if you are uncomfortable. If you know that you are prone to seasickness, it is recommened to take motion sickness medication prior to departure.
