Private Cruise Basics
The Carolina Runner has the largest passenger capacity in all of the Wrightsville Beach area at 38 passengers and 2 crew. FYI, any vessel for hire that carries more than 6 passengers must be a US coast guard inspected vessel with a Captain with a USCG merchant mariner credential. Our boat is equipped with a Bar, Cooler, Modern Toilet Facilities, Bluetooth Speakers, and freshwater hoses to rinse off.
The price varies on the season and the time of day. We normally run two regular passenger cruises a day and if your cruise time interferes than we have to charge additionally. However, we recognize that at slower parts of the season or if we have a gap between cruises when the crew is already there and the boat is ready to go we can offer better deals.
Sandbar float parties
Is what we do best and what we designed the boat to do. Bring your own floats, we will provide the air to fill them and get you to the perfect spot. You can rent our custom floating Beer Pong table and whatever other gear you want to bring, we have TONS of room. Our ramp off the bow makes loading and unloading heavy equipment a breeze. Corporate Cruising
The islands and water ways in Wrightsville Beach is home to beautiful neighborhoods, local restaurants, bars, and surf shops and is seconds from Wrightsville beach. One of the best things about WB is how they are all connected my loops both water and pedestrian. The most famous “Loop” is a great stroll 2.5 miles but a new view every minute. Our loop on our Cruise takes you through Banks Channel, Harbor Island, Motts Channel, Shinn Creek, and Masonboro Inlet. We recommend a 1.5 hour at a minimum but we can customize however you want.

Dog Friendly Palm Tree Island
Masonboro Island Reserve is the largest undisturbed barrier island in Southern North Carolina and is 8.4 miles long. A majority of the island is covered in marsh and tidal flats but the other parts are composed mainly of beach uplands. The other habitats that make up the island are shrub thicket, maritime forest, dredge spoil areas, grasslands, and sand dunes. Fish, birds, and sea turtles also shelter up on Masonboro Island. This destination is only reachable by boat, kayak, and canoe as well as private boat charter, and a ferry service that visit the island. Due to its size, visitors are allowed to beach their boat and traverse the island via trails and the ocean beach. But do be careful of sensitive areas including the dunes, grassy flats, and certain parts of the marsh. Masonboro also allows camping for visitors that want to enjoy their stay for a little while longer.
